The Celtic Manor Resort celebrated the fifth anniversary of its fine-dining restaurant achieving three AA rosettes with an evening of champagne, cocktails and canapés in Terry M.
Head Chef Tim McDougall and his team provided a cookery theatre backdrop as they prepared mouth-watering appetisers within the restaurant and human statue waiters were another entertaining addition to proceedings.
The restaurant earned the prestigious accolade from the AA within a few short months of opening back in 2008. At the time, the AA’s guidelines for earning three AA rosettes said:
“This award takes a restaurant into the Big League. Expectations of the kitchen are high: exact technique, flair and imagination must come through in every dish, and balance and depth of flavour are all-important.”
Speaking on the celebration evening, Celtic Manor Food and Beverage Director Glenn Lewis added:
We are very proud that the team here at Terry M, under head chef Tim McDougall and restaurant manager Ronan Hunter, has maintained those high standards and kept us in the Big League for five years running. We wish them and this accolade Many More Happy Returns!
As well as wonderful dinner options including a six-course tasting menu, Terry M also offers a great value Express Lunch for just £15.95. See the menus here.
