Luxury motor cars Bentley and Rolls-Royce will go head to head not on the road but on the polo field as they compete against each other as team sponsors for Polo at the Manor, presented by Elemis, this summer.

The two main match sponsors are more closely associated with horsepower of a different kind but will bring another dash of prestige to the Sport of Kings when the polo ponies and riders return to The Celtic Manor Resort on Saturday 14th June.

As well as having their logos emblazoned on the shirts of the competing teams, Bentley Cardiff and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Birmingham will be displaying models around the polo field, as spectators dress up to the nines, sip champagne and enjoy sumptuous hospitality.

The leading luxury car makers will be the best of rivals on the polo field as the two dealerships are stablemates in the Rybrook Group, which sponsors the match for the second year running.

Rybrook Group Marketing Manager Sophie Heptonstall said:

We are delighted to once again be associated with Polo at the Manor. Polo always delivers a glamorous occasion but it’s also a lot of fun for our clients. The Celtic Manor Resort is another great fit for our prestige brands and provides a stunning backdrop for us to display our luxury cars.

Crouch, the Cardiff jeweller, is a team sponsor for the second match at an event whose presenting sponsor is Elemis, Britain’s leading spa and skincare brand.

Bulmers Cider is the official umpire sponsor and will operate the bars at the event, and Jacquart Champagne will supply the all-important bubbly which promises to flow during a day billed the social event of the season.
