Get Your Hands On Our Pink Balls!

Hidden surprises bring tickets to Golf Live and The Celebrity Cup for lucky golfers

One of the only good things to come out of roaming the rough, looking for your wayward golf ball, is occasionally finding a better one.  Lucky golfers at several golf courses in South Wales will get an even bigger bonus if they happen to discover one of 300 special pink golf balls hidden off their fairways in the coming weeks.

The pink Srixon balls have been planted by organisers of The Celebrity Cup at Golf Live and every one that gets found and handed in to the club pro will win a ticket to the event which takes place at Celtic Manor from May 10-12.

Golf courses where balls have been hidden include The Vale Resort, Radyr, Pyle & Kenfig, Marriott St Pierre, Llanwern and Cardiff Golf Centre at Began Park as well as Celtic Manor itself, but don’t forget to keep your eyes peeled during your next round of golf in case you spot one of the pink balls and win your ticket to Golf Live and The Celebrity Cup.

Every successful ball finder will also be entered into a prize draw to VIP their Celebrity Cup experience into an overnight stay at Celtic Manor or get “inside the ropes” as a scoreboard holder for the battle of the stars.

Now in its fourth year, Golf Live is the world’s leading interactive golf show with its unique skills theatres from top players, expert custom-fitting and the latest clubs, balls and accessories from the world’s leading manufacturers, and a comprehensive exhibition of golf apparel, merchandise and golfing destinations.

New this year is the star-studded Celebrity Cup which pits big names from the worlds of sport and showbiz against each other in a clash of the nations between England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales. Stars already announced for the event include Olympic hero Sir Steve Redgrave, comedian Rob Brydon, Hollywood movie star Ioan Gruffudd, football legend Kenny Dalglish and model and TV personality Jodie Kidd.

The teams will be overseen by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie who said:

I’m extremely grateful that The Celebrity Cup at Golf Live will be run in aid of the Elizabeth Montgomerie Foundation and I look forward to helping raise as much money as possible at the event. The colour pink is synonymous with cancer charities and I think this hunt for special pink golf balls will be a lot of fun. It's a fantastic chance for golfers to win unique prizes at Golf Live and The Celebrity Cup.

Montgomerie will also demonstrate some of the skills that took him to a record eight European Tour order of merit titles at Golf Live, where he will be joined by fellow European Tour pro Søren Kjeldsen, top coach Simon Holmes, former World Long Drive Champion Joe Miller and trick shot artist Paul Barrington.
